How to calculate your birth card?

Hello!  I may be having a mandala effect moment in my birth card journey, so I could use some help in clarification what I'm missing here.

A few years ago, I started dabbling with Destiny cards and I could have sworn I was a Queen of Hearts along with my boyfriend at the time that had a different birth date but same card.  I've looked everywhere and no longer have proof to show this however but when someone recently did a spread with my Birth card from Ernest software, it was the Queen of Hearts.

When I started to dive back in on my own recently, I decided to go online to look it up and on a few different websites showed Jack of Hearts ( I use to study a bit from Robert Lee Camp's books).  It has stumped me and I'm wondering if there are different ways of calculating this as one would when it comes to Tropical vs Sidereal systems.

I tried to go on cardsoftruth.com spread creator, however it will not let me move forward because it's warning me on safari that the website has an expired certificate and the connection is not private and I don't know how to by pass.

My birthday is 11/22

What I learned was that 55- (Month number x 2) + Day number) = the solar value of your birth card.  Mine comes out to 11, which turns out to be the Jack of Hearts.

So would love to get some feedback here to solve the mystery!  Thank you,

Shelly

If you are born after sunrise on Nov 22nd, then you are a J♥️ Birth Card. If you were born before sunrise then you are a Q♥️ Birth Card.

Not sure how other card systems advise or how they calculate the Birth Card. I only practice with Cards of Truth. Hope that helps you solve the mystery!

Hello Shelly, like Mirela mentioned, it really depends on your time of birth. I was born on October 12 which would make me a 10 of Clubs, but since I was born at 4:20am (before sun rise), am a Jack of Clubs (as if I were born on Oct 11). On other online systems, my BC is 10C but I follow the cards of truth system as well. Regarding the website, if you click on “Advanced”, you will be asked if you want to go ahead anyways and if you accept, you are redirected to the website. Hope this helps. Mona

Thank you @Mirela and @Mona, I really appreciate it, this helps!  Thank you for supporting me to solve the mystery, I just recently had my mind blown when studying Vedic astrology to find out that Sidereal is more accurate?  And now this with cardsoftruth.  Must be the transits revealing different truths!

Anyway, I was able to get through the security, it must have been too late at night to notice that option. 🙂  I was born 6am in Seoul, so it appears that was before sunrise as I got Queen of hearts.

@ Mona - I haven't gotten deep enough into the cards yet but I was curious if you had tried testing different spreads and going down the rabbit hole of how different it truly is.  I ask because I have been challenged with going back and forth of how the sidereal and tropical system has been throwing me off! And getting more educated on how the tropical system seems to be more accurate based on the signs.

@samuraishellygmail-com hi Shelly, I have been going down the rabbit hole of sidereal vs tropical for a couple of months and my conclusion is that tropical is more accurate (at least in my experience). With sidereal, I have a Dayna yoga that doesn’t make sense, a debilitated Venus that I don’t relate to and 🙂 don’t get me started on Rahu/Ketu since, after going through the healing of Rahu and Ketu course, it is clear that the tropical signs apply 100% to my experience. Born in October, I have a (tropical) debilitated Sun which explains a lot. Tropical seems also a lot more relevant to my son. I also find the theory of tropical to make sense. And the Jack of Clubs to be accurate but I am relatively new to CoT so I haven’t gone down the rabbit hole on that one and probably won’t as I trust the process. At the end of the day, while I have zero doubt tropical is more relevant and logical, I think it’s also a very personal journey and I would recommend to embrace what makes the most sense to you. I’ve also noticed that, what I was told by a sidereal astrologer I consulted months ago, somehow apply to my tropical zodiac chart but in other ways. Hope that helps! Mona

I haven´t got deep into the sidereal/tropical discussion, but Ernst´s argument that nothing that can´t be seen in daylight should have any bearing on matters related to the Sun, applies to my sense of Stupid logic. And that sense I trust a lot more than most elaborate theories. Basically: what´s on the night sky has nothing to do with the Sun. Meaning: the zodiac is completely irrelevant for the Sun, rather we deal with "Rasis", piles of degrees, related to a reference point where Sun speaks to us from an earthly perspective. Meaning: The equinox. And although if I never been to India and know how it really is, from a distance it seems really silly to celebrate the Sun´s return three weeks after it´s back.

I´ve abandoned most of my faith in western astrology, but I do think the tropical time is the accurate one. As for the Sun, that is.
