I´m listening to the Healing R/K course. (Fantastic!)

A thought about the 5th house: If a person has Rahu there and have children, and are engaged in bringing up children, wouldn´t that be like having Rahu in an Upachaya house? Hard to avoid not learning a lot from Rahu in that case...?

It does not matter what house rahu is in, you learn from it. When its in an upachaya, the lessens get less difficult over time, in other houses, it seems that the lessons never become easier.
