Hi all enthusiastic astrologers,

I came across a good video that explains about Jupiter - Saturn great conjunction using Vedic Astrology. So far, it is the best I know, the astrologer mentions planetary war, which planet wins, how the war can affect people, etc.

This is the link to the video: https://youtu.be/oncfjBlw2gw. ~~I want to share the interpretation which I think is very good.~~

PS: Please note that in the video the Zodiac is Sidereal.

After checking carefully, it is Saturn that wins the War. So please reverse all the interpretation in the above video about Saturn and Jupiter.

@tuannguyen  That came at a good time. I was wondering why I was tapping into fear yesterday.

According to Kala/Ernst, the conjunction is in Aquarius not Capricorn. Saturn wins the war not Jupiter. The nakshatra is Sravana not Uttarashadha.

@radharamana  Yes, I did notice that the video was presented from the sidereal perspective.

I follow tropical and I would read it as the conjunction happening in Aquarius, but the video was useful to remind me and help me understand the nature of planetary war and the chaos it brings up in the mind ????. It was like watching Jupiter’s and Saturn’s Avasthas beginning to play out in a complex way. Haha.

@radharamana I also follow Ernst's method, Tropical Zodiac & Sidereal Nakshatras. So I mentally note that the war occurs in Tropical Aquarius. The Nakshatra should be still Uttarashadha if it is Lahiri Sidereal as in the video.

Could you explain why Saturn wins the war in Aquarius but not Jupiter? According to Brihat Samhita, Jupiter meets two conditions to win the war: he is brighter and is at higher position on the sky than Saturn.

I will edit the original post with the Sidereal note for other listeners.

@tuannguyen

Ersnts uses Dhruva galactic centre ayanamsa and he decides the winner of the war based on which planet is higher.

@radharamana thank you for your clarification and the picture.

I naively saw the sky from my app and thought Jupiter was higher ????.
