@tuyetv So, Queen of Spades. A rare bird as said. King and Queen of Spades plus Ace of Hearts are the only three cards that show up only once a year. This is the first time I analize the Queen of Spades spread, but hopefully I´ll be able to detect the relevant things.

The numerology in the CoT-system runs from 1 to 9. Tens represent "any number", Jacks 1-3, Queens 4-6, Kings 7-9. So a Queen of Spades is a personification of 4 to 6 of Spades, symbolized by the mature states in a tree´s life. 4 of Spades: a grown-up, secure tree, 5 of Spades: A tree adapting to where it´s growing 6: a fully-grown, perfectly healthy tree, the highest in the forest. Among those states the Queen is most natural in 5, so it´s main theme is about improving. Add to good health per se (mental, spiritual and probably physical, unless other factors speaks against it) a great capacity for improvement and adaptation (always check the Moon and the Moon card for that, though) and you´ve got it... Every card is mirrored in the tarot deck, and for 5 of Spades the card is Judgement. So that´s a major theme  for QS. Being tested as an individual: "Is this as good as I can be or can I improve?" It´s not so much about doing things (that would be clubs) or about having any special value (diamonds), it´s more about authenticity and plain health in a broad meaning of the world. I´m running a black five myself (5C), and when I was around 33 or 35 I envisioned myself as an old man in front of a mirror, judging myself. Had I lived a true life? I then realized I was not doing my dharma and decided to leave my country, and from then on I started my quest for authenticity and personal health. I would be surprised if you haven´t experienced something similar. The mirror theme is a strong one for Queen of Spades as you will see.

The BC - what we are - is complemented by an Ecliptica card - "the path we walk". And for QS it´s 8 of hearts. Eights are mirrors, so there we go. Hearts are about connections and relations. 8 of Hearts is all about the connection to ourselves. So, simply put: Queen of Spades walk the path of self love. (Although 8s are infamous for causing stand-stills; imagine a wanderer who encounters a perfectly smooth surface of water; he might forget about his walk and be sitting there for a while. So it´s a card that might make you feel stuck in some periods of your life, especially when young.)

Every card has an underlying card, indicating where we come from. An experience that we that we bring with us from earlier lives. Something that we naturally do well. In the case of QS it´s 10 of Diamonds, as indicated by the small symbol in the left corner. It´s an indication of being at ease in the material world, having a knack for quality; you recognize quality things, quality people etc with effortlessly. Diamonds are mostly about the material world, but it´s not limited to it. Especially 3 and 9 of Diamonds tend to connect to a higher reality, and as I said the tens represent all numbers. 10 of Diamonds tend to move effortlessly in the spiritual as well as the material world, I´d say that there isn´t much of a conflict between those worlds for them. The underlying card is a "freebie" in this life, it´s an unconsious things that works to our favour like a wind in the back.

Then we have the overlying card, indicating a tendency that we are naturally gravitating against. For QS it´s 8 of Diamond. Another mirror. In this case it has to do with the world we are living in (Diamonds represent the element Earth). It´s the Magic card per excellence, the card that teaches us to manifest things in the outer world going inwardly. So that´s your natural tendency in life, towards which you are moving wanting it or not - becoming a magician, discovering your capacity for creating things in this world by just envisioning them. Or in other worlds - being lucky!

That´s the foundation..... Then there is much more to it. For example it´s a clubstrong spread, and you have mostly good clubs. Clubs represent activity, outer as well as inner (thoughts and philosphy). Jack of Clubs on the Sun card gives you curiosity and initiative (and it´s your "main card", you could say, during your first 52 years of life, so curiosity and having initiative is normally a strong trait). Two of Clubs on the Mercury card: You find the necessary information when you need it. Six of Clubs on the Uranus card indicates a high level of skill, you are good at doing things and have a healthy criteria (as you would expect from "the health card"). (King of Clubs on the Jupiter card is an ego challenge; it wants to teach you not to ask for approval in the field of Clubs, that is being skilfull and wise not asking for anything in return. Don´t expect the world to validate you!)

Everything is wonderful and good so far, don´t you have anything against you? Yes, of course, but really not much. The one really difficult card that you have in your spread may be a tough one though, depending on Saturn´s behaviour and other indications in the spread. It´s the Saturn card, 4 of Hearts. That is "denial of emotional stability" and probably  "denial of good relationships". Life challenges you to find emotional independence, struggling with your hearts environment, that in some way probably hasn´t supported you. (And there seem to be a logic to that: You are hear to learn about self love, as your ecliptic card indicates, so life doesn´t allow you to get too much of it from the outside. So it seems.)

There are still many cards left to analyze, but I think this gives the broader picture.

I invite anyone who wants to to fill the holes.

Mattias

PD The attached spread is from January 2 this year. The same cards as in your birth spread but different placementes of the planets and cusps.

Ahhh Mttias thank you for doing the above analysis. I really appreciate it. Amazing accurate as a big picture of my life. I can say that i have lived and experienced the ups and downs of life as i am approaching 60. There is one word to describe me it would be "Balance". I am a very balanced/grounded person. I enjoy everything in life in moderation. When i was younger, there is that sense of insecurity but as i age like fine wine, i have little need for validation from others. Just validation from myself that I am living the life that I want to live. There is that inner peace for sure. I am not religious, but i am very spiritual. I am comfortable in my path and in my own skin. I am also grateful for what God gives me or does not give me. And yes i am very good at researching for solutions when i have a problem to solve. I love learning, have always been a very curious creature. I will be entering Rahu Venus in October and it will last for 3 years. So we will see the changes that i will be facing. You are also correct about instability in relationship. That has always been the case in my life, beyond my control. With 3 planets and Ketu in the 7th house, relationships both in work and personal have always been changeable as my 7th house is in a moveable sign. How very true. Friends come and go in my life, but luckily my family has for the most part been fairly stable...

Thanks again!

@tuyetv Cool, good to hear! About your life and you being good of course; balance, yes, indeed, Queen of Spades is all about independency in a mature way, so... But also good to hear that the reading seems to have been accurate. Tt´s an amazing system that Ernst has developed as you can see!

And then you can use it for progressions and solar returns too, so it´s also a powerful predicting instrument. Welcome aboard the Cards of Truth-ship when you decide to start your studies!

@tuyetv Yeah, Varsaphala is cool, even though I haven´t finished that course. I decided to dedicate some months to a second round with the Cards of Truth-courses first. Now I´m almost through it and start to feel confident with the cards. Time to dive deeper into regular astrology soon!

@meyes you are very good with COT. You give me inspiration to get into it. I am very busy at work so it is tough to learn 2 systems as there is only 24 hours in a day. I could barely get 1 or 2 hours in after work to learn one system. But that is ok, being the curious creature that i am, i will do it. Just a matter of time that is all. Happy Learning!

@meyes Would you be willing to have a go at the 10 of Clubs Birth Card spread? It's not a rare one, but it seems to create some really successful and prominent people. I'm curious to read your interpretation.

@astroalex Sure! In one of his courses, "Reading the little book", Ernst uses the spread of Madonna, who is a 10 of Clubs, extensively as an example.

But I´ll do what I can.
