I´ve been reading a couple of Seven of Diamonds spread lately. Nice and very spiritual people!

But the 7th card position in that spread gives me grey hair. It resonates so strongely with their Birth Card; a King in the 7th position obviously resonates strongly in it´s innate 7 quality. According to Carmina on youtube it has to do with being generous, sharing wealth etc, but that doesn´t capture the Saturn meaning I believe; there should be something saying "don´t" or "this is not for you" there. Any ideas, experiences, anyone? A kinglike attitude towards longterm sacrifices and suffering, basically a stoic character, that I believe, but apart from that?

Best regards

Mattias

The 7 of Diamonds is my 7 year progression card, so it gives me grey hairs in general Haha I think the King of Diamonds Saturn card can hold a connotation of sacrificing steady work or at best, long stints of unemployment, or delays in finding steady income or work. Struggling to support yourself financially, and not being able to hold a steady long-term job is somewhat fitting since it's the 7 of Diamonds (financial failures). It can also mean a delay in finding a career or profession in which you become specialized or expert in. Or perhaps choosing a profession where you choose to make financial sacrifices and there is an in-balance between your income and personal expenses.

@codydeboer Gosh, I found that to be such a rough 7-year period to get through! Is it currently your year card in that spread? If so, that's a good thing because at least it's only a year! lol

I don't know if I was very clear in my original post, but I meant that I was running the 7 of Diamonds birth spread as my 7-year progressed spread at the time.

@kam I actually can't remember how to find the year card, Its been a while since I studied the course, is it the same as the Age quadration?

and yes the 7 of diamonds is the card for my 7 year progression currently, age 35-41, and I am 37, lol.

@codydeboer Ahh okay, so you are running the 7 of Diamonds as your 7-year progression. Sorry, I thought you might be running it as your age 37 "year card" in that spread. I'm also going through the age 35-41 quadration, but I'm in to the 8 of Diamonds now. In any case, I'm so glad that my post resonated with you and I hope it provides you with some validation as to how you're feeling right now because at the time of writing it, I felt pretty alone and misunderstood.

@kam ah so for age 37 year card its the 9 of clubs right now. Did you notice a shift from your 7 of diamonds to 8 of diamonds in regards to all the things you were going through?

@codydeboer The main thing I've noticed now having moved in to the 8 of Diamonds progression is that I'm more accepting of myself and the path that I've chosen to take. I was definitely more hard on myself in the 7 of Diamonds period over failed career paths, loss of financial security, and failed relationships. It felt like I was more ashamed of myself during that period and really thought there was something wrong with me—that I was somehow broken.

EDIT- I should add that the 7 of Diamonds is actually the ecliptic card  for the 8 of Diamonds birth card, so this self-acceptance and self-resignation of sorts seems to have been born out of the trial and error of things not working out how I'd hoped during the previous 7-year period.

This most recent eclipse marking my nodal return in the Aries/Libra axis seems to have given me a reset of sorts. I feel like the negative cloud that had been hanging over me for years has finally dissipated. I'm currently 36 years old, in my second year of the 8 of Diamonds seven year progression, age 35-41.

Its a card of sacrifice. Any person born with a 7 birth card will make sacrifices of themselves somewhere, but these sacrifices help them get ahead, as a proper sacrifice should. So its their ability to let go, give something up, and then they end up with more. The saturn card shows their ability to do this. at the 7, what we let go of is let go of cause its over, once its let go of, the space opens up for something else to come in. If we try to hold onto it, whatever we hold onto just becomes a space safer but offers nothing that is really needed.

As a 5 of Clubs I´ve got it on my Mercury card, and it´s interesting to see how the two cards - 7D and KD - work together in that spread too.

4th position: worldly matters not working out

11th position: King of Diamond making it easy to sacrifice worldly matters. (But also an indication of a strong and independent value system, I believe.)

7 of Diamonds are the nicest people! Or among them, at least.

Here´s an example, Laleh, Sweden´s most beloved pop artist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3DhrmL_YTI

She could be an 8D of course, if she was born at night. But I think she has 7D written all over him. 7D is one of the cards I´ve been able to guess; "You must be a..." They are special.
