In one of his videos, Ernst talked about Jupiter in relation to purpose. Does anyone remember which video it is?

This is an interesting topic and I think he may discuss it in more than one video, so hopefully he can clarify.

But I do remember one where Jupiter was discussed in relation to Capricorn and the incompatiblity of finding a genuine satisfying "purpose" that can be defined tangibly through the karmic earth sign ruled by Saturn, being a naturally tamasic material-oriented planet. One can become demoralized from not being able to do anything "meaningful" enough.

I may need to review though.

I am also interested in the connection between afflictions to Jupiter and conspiracy theories.

S.

@manisha I am afraid I don't because I don't think it was the intended main topic of the video or course.

Hi Ernst,

You talk about Jupiter with Rahu people following bursts of purpose and neglecting other areas of life. Is that a good or bad thing? If purpose does come in bursts, isn’t it necessary to follow it, especially when Rahu is involved? What would be a good balancing act in such a case?

The thing is, the bursts are always towards a new 'big' thing and then it never gets fulfilled.

So, even if it never gets fulfilled, they are still supposed to follow it. Is that correct? What’s the logic behind it?

I have Jupiter-Rahu in the 1st, and yes, all the time and effort I put in anything that sparks as an inspiration, reaches a dead end. It would be nice to see a seed I have planted grow into a big tree and bear fruit. It feels like I get neither Rahu nor Ketu. Instead, it becomes something to grieve over and over and over. Going around in ever-growing circles and never getting anywhere or have anything tangible to hold.

You have to focus on developing rahu sign qualities and consciouly work out any bad avasthas on Jupiter

So it is the connotation of ‘big’ that trips it up? I can see that working. Either I visualise it in my head from start to finish, and the visualisation is so elaborate and the kinks are all worked out, that there is no need to bring it into manifestation, as the ‘joy’ of working out through the problems had already been harnessed.

The other ‘big’ connotation is when doing anything concrete, I make it too complex, and either it gets overwhelming or takes too much time, and I get frustrated or lose interest.

Now, I think I can see why it never gets fulfilled. Have I got it right? I wonder if my Rahu-Jupiter in Capricorn is causing me to choose projects that take long and require a lot of patience.

What other ways are there of it not getting fulfilled? What are the ways to turn this into a fulfilling combination? I guess acceptance of the way it is, is one way. Working on smaller or less complex projects is another solution?

See, jupiter can only take us to where is natural for us, what is natural to our way of being. He is one of the important planets, along with the sun, to get us to be who we really are. With rahu, it shows that a person has to take more time to discover that. So at first thigns will feel really exciting, its never that, the right thing we do, it feels like breathing, so natural. SO all these excited things, they are just steps to find the right thing. so its really just about patience and gaining wisdom to know what the most fulfilling experience will be for you.

“One has to go towards Rahu to get Ketu, because Ketu is the same as Rahu.”

“The right thing we do feels like breathing”. So it is so much a part of who we are, that we are not even aware of it.

Can something intangible like love be something who we really are? Or does that become the right thing as a foundation for the Sun to build up on?
