Hi Ernst,

You explain that Jaimini tends to reason on the Rashis by numers (not symbol - Ariet like 1, Taurs like 2 ecc ). In your couse of Medical Astrology I have fond numerlogy view in the pdf. Have you got the focus course o readings about this argument that can connect with the sutras?

tks

Is the interpretation of Jaimini's Rashis the same for houses? ex. Ariet (1 rashi) = 1 House = "rats and cats".

@bhima from what I remember, Jaimini refers to Parashara descriptions of the houses and only focuses on describing the Rasis. While there are a lot of similarities between houses and Rasis, they are not exactly the same (partly because houses can also represent/refer to specific people in someone’s life when the rasis do not)

in 1.2.11 sutra you translate kheta: a village, residence of peasants and farmers, kapha ...

in a dictionary of sanskrit I have found this meaning: (view img)

That's strange, it seems your dictionary is flipping meanings of khecara with kheta. what dictionary is it? Also read this which confirms kheta meaning as I my dicionary has it. Kheta, Kheṭa, Kheṭā: 23 definitions (wisdomlib.org)
