Hi, Ernst and everyone
In the Spouse from the Svamsa's 7th part of Jaimini we can see if a person can have an older spouse, but nothing is said about a younger spouse. I assume that this is because the readings were given to men in ancient times, and having an older spouse was probably considered as something negative.
Is there a way we can see if a person can have a younger spouse?
Younger spouse was the norm back then. Men were regularly 2, even three times older. So they were old enough to be established to provide for kids and the women were young enough to bake babies. It all made sense from a propagation point of view.
These days same age is more the norm than it ever has been. Mars is the most likely to make a younger spouse.
Thank you, Ernst!
@mona @codydeboer Nice, good toknow! I have Ra in 7th, in Taurus, and the lord Venus is conjunct Mars in Pisces. In D9 I have Saturn, Venus and Mars in Pisces, 7th from Svamsa, Jupiter and Mercury rasi aspect from Virgo. My Jupiter AK Dasa started last year, so I'm curious to see what will happen, if anything. Mars is stronger in dignity, so maybe that will sway things more towards a younger woman.
I have seen many of (rasi and also) D-9 charts where Swamsa opposite sign and also opposite sign ruler (counter both sides, left and right) gives quite a lot of interesting and quite valid information. It´s not very orthodox approach but seems sort of additional information.
