Hi there, I just downloaded the Kala  software.  I just want to see the outer planets in my Varga charts, but I must have clicked some wrong option when setting up the software, because it has given me planets at the wrong degrees.  I want it to look like how it looks in astro.com, like the default chart they use.  They use placidus and my ascendant is at 17 Scorpio.  This has my ascendant at 6:55 Scorpio.  Ack!  What did I click wrong?

Thanks!

And now realize what I did wrong.  And now I'm wondering how to see the Varga charts.

I think I see them now, but the planets seem to be off.  Ernst, what options should I select in kala to give me the same Varga charts as what you see at vaultoftheheavens.com?

The title at the top of the screen says Shodasvargas.  Is that the Varga charts?  How do I get what I see in vaultoftheheavens.com, just with the outer planets included?

Merci!

GO to options, customize, select the Ernst Wilhelm Options package and that should do it.

yes, shodasavargas are the vargas. To get outer planets you can press F8 or go to Chart Screen Options under the Optonis menu and select it there.

If you read through the owners manual once and do everything in kala as you read it, you will find a lot of things that you will otherwise miss. Its under the Help menu.

Have fun exploring,

Ernst

Hi Ernst and members,

I have an issue with using Crossover 2 to run Kala on a Mac / Catalina . Even tho they said the Beta worked great....

I seem to remember   Parallels works good, is preferred?

And any precautions I need to take before switching over?   What do I need to do?

Thanks so much!

Meg

@meg Just installed paralles.... it is awesome!  But, if have low memory, you will struggle with fan over spinning, or experience lower processing speed.

Hi, Actually my Mac book Pro had a virus and now all good! Cross Over just gets better and lot of free space. Not to expensive.

Thanks for the input tho.

Light to all,

Meg
