Hi Ernst

In your medical course, you recommended a shift towards raw vegetable dominant diet.
I would like your input on 2 possible concerns with raw food:

1. Raw food being considered more difficult to digest as it is uncooked and may be hard, as compared to the softer cooked food
2. More importantly, what I understood while growing up is that raw food could have higher risk of infection while cooking may kill the disease causing bacteria.

Regards

Food that is grown in unsanitary conditions can cause severe infections; this is particularly a problem with vegetables which are grown at ground level. In that case, best to cook them. Raw vegetables should primary be of the delicate variety, leafy vegetables such as lettuce and spinach and sprouted mung beans and things like that. Most of the diet should simply consist of fruits which are the easiest to digest.

Thanks Ernst

Outside the veggies, I have considered Egg as a healthy source of nutrients. Can it be included in recommended diet or do you advise against any animal based protein?

Eggs are not very healthy, would not recommend as a standard part of the diet.

Thanks for the input Ernst.

Would request you to sometime either create a write up or maybe a video on what foods one can look into while considering shifting towards more raw food in diet. (Can even share your how you made the shift).

I have been a vegetarian plus egg consumer throughout, so it could be relatively easier for me to shift. But I feel constrained sometimes by what exactly to eat to make the practice regular.

Kind Regards
