Rahu conj ascendant in synastry
i am currently exploring rahu and ketu and i was wondering if you have any observations on: rahu in the chart of one person conjunct the ascendant degree in the chart of another. Any insights would be helpful. Or if you could point me to a video that discusses this topic on here, that’d be great. From my observations - this creates an immensely strong pull towards that person (regarding any type of relationship) but i am not sure if such an interaction can lead to growth, or alternatively just be an obsession. i was wondering what the lessons are in this situation.
also, (not sure if this is relevant to the material on this site but) - if rahu is retrograde in a person’s chart, can that lead to experiencing rahu internally, and create a situation where the person is blocked from actualizing and manifesting any rahu things even if they are willing to grow and readily go into the jungle
@ernst - thank you for this site and for your teachings, your perspective really makes a difference
ps: this is my very first post here, i am sorry if these are not appropriate topics for this forum. please let me know if this is the case
Don't look at rahu as retrograde. its really not. Rahu is just a mathematical point and that changes with the hcange in the moon'slattitude and so it will be shown as retro with some node calculation options, but it has no different effect, its really not retro in any sense of what that means to a planet.
yes, lagna on rahu creates a strong attraction to the rahu person. i talk about that in the mastering rahu and ketu course.
I would recommend these videos 22-24 Mastering Rahu and Ketu
I personally found it very accurate. My Sun falls on my husband's Rahu and it really creates a strong attraction (from him to me), I'm more of the distant/cold fish one. Not on his ascendant though but opposite (his Ketu is in his Lagna in Aries). We have a good marriage now but it took some efforts (and pain, mostly caused by me). The lesson (as far as I am concerned) is to develop unconditional love for the person who shares your journey, with the good, the bad, the ugly, but most importantly, the beautiful.
