Hello fellow CoT lovers,

I would like to share my experience over those years, as 5C with now pushing 50.  If you want to look carefully at my spread here is my tob:  May 27 1973 0828AM, Memphis TN/Shelby Co (USA).

I did reach a point where I saw that my wonderful husband could only be and do so much for "me" and the fact of the matter was, I would have to love myself the most.  I also started wander lusting for pregnancy, which threw him for a loop, as the plan "we" thought we had together was to remain childless.  I started trying to get pregnant during that time and conceived towards the end of that, at age 39 and gave birth to my 1st son at age 40, then second at age 43 (9D it was fulfilling on multiple levels over those years but ultimately took me to the realization that self-realization is still, and will always be, the ultimate realization).   Note the 9S on the 8th card for all 5c and this becomes more and more obvious. A 5c birth card not focused on self-realization has got to be really painful.  Now, my planets have a lot of good nakshatras for happiness as well, and this is toB specific, so it has actually been a relatively "easy" incarnation but is because I am obsessed at core with that 9S on the 8th card/self-realization.

I think, in my experience during these years, that yes, there was hitting a certain wall in personal relationships and looking towards the next level (indicated by 6H on the Q card in the birth spread- expand the upper levels of happiness to the next limit, because a limit was definitely reached and was fulling, but it was the max level in that sort of relationship, so things had to evolve or die) there was a desire to take all relationships to another level of self- sacrifice, and it certainly had painful elements at times (KH on the ecliptic).

Regarding the comments about unusual and last-minute travel, this has also often been true although I often go somewhat reluctantly (I see this reflected in 9C in Saturn card w Rahu & Jupiter, travel has often had unexpected "adventures" wherein I was ultimately protected but some very bizarre things happened).  I generally prefer inner travel (9s on the 8th card).

This thread, like another one here about 5C birth cards, makes me admire Ernst's approach with the planets in the cards even more, because the planet placements make a huge difference!  My main "success' as in career so far, has been as what you would call a high-level administrator (4 planets in mercury card, 7D) working for the government (4 planets in 12th house), and I am a psychiatrist by trade (As moon card, 5s Jupiter card). I would secretly prefer to just read cards and do yoga (3D sun with afflictions; the mystical side is not seen 1st, the administrator is seen 1st by most w /7D planets, but money is never an issue at least).  Someone here was posting a while back about his experience with being a 5C and it was a very, very different life path from mine.  The planets show how.  But still, the themes are mostly spot- on.  So awesome!  Hope this this personal 5c experience helps!

Thanks for sharing. Yes, the planets say a lot. I have 10th cusp and Rahu in Jack of Hearts- I'm in the artistic side of things...

I often felt that for a 5clubs woman, being child free is the way to go! Interesting to hear your journey, though.

Yep.  Planet placement changes it all so much.  Especially the moon, jupiter & venus as far as childbearing I would assume.  I had to get into venus dasha to even want to have kids, which is in line with your thoughts, never thought I would until md 30's really.  There is something to it.  I think a lot about how Ernst has evolved the system and 5 clubs is an odd # in "air" suit = not exactly fertile compared to hearts one would think.

Robert Camp has some very ahem, not positive things to say about marriage for a 5 clubs female, and although i can see where he gets the idea, I have been more-or-less happily married a long time.  He paints the 5c as non-marriage and subsequently non-parent types.  But movement to the 4 of clubs indicates movement towards a "more stable" second half of life, which has been my case.  He must have encountered a lot of 5C women feeling the restlessness, so to speak.

What does choosing to be child free have to do with fertility, though? I am not speaking about infertility. Moreover, I think 5 clubs as a spread has a lot of hearts, actually.  I just feel the King of Hearts may force a woman into a "either or" situation, where they have to choose between a child or some other significant passion. Easier for men, as they play a relatively passive role in the creation and rearing of a child.
On the other the 6Hearts is on the Neptune card, so maybe the women can manage- I don't know.
Personally, I'm just choosing to channel my creativity and "hearts" through creating music, as of now. As of now I'm still younger than the age you were when you gave birth, so let's see, haha.

Yea, I'm married too. I think 5clubs people will change their minds and come to a new understanding about many things over their life, including significant things.. I think marriage works as long as they are with someone who understands that.
