The thread regarding benefics ruling angles for yoga formation got discontinued. So I am putting it here.
Going by that principle Moon shouldn't be termed as Evil for Capricorn because Moon seems to be have the least malevolence in that order of Moon>Mercury>Jupiter>Venus. (As given in the vault of heavens)
Also Moon for Libra as angle lord is capable of yoga but for Aries he doesn't mention anything. I think it's neutral. So it's quite confusing how to judge these. For Cancer, its Lagna lord as trine and hence fine.
If Moon is Maraka for Capricorn and thus evil, so is Mercury for Sag but only factor I can think of in favor for yoga formation is that it's mooltrikona falls in 10th house and hence it's not as evil?

So if Mercury can form yoga for Sagittarius, why not Moon for Capricorn ? since Moon is the least malevolent for ruling an angle.
For Pisces, Mercury is stated as evil and maraka but for Sagittarius it can form yoga- is only confusing.
