I'm curious how subjected someone is to the components of their chart. I am talking less about concrete events and more about the psychological nature. I have been counseling others on their charts and also looking at my own. Is it useful to adopt an attitude of self-improvement towards the undesirable indications of the chart or is the spiritual path of Astrology more about accepting what is there and adopting a nonattached state to both the good and the bad habits?

Self improvement as bad LAs are meant to be fixed by the person. Bad LAs were created by the person in the first place from previous lifetimes and it's only he who can fix it because God gave free will to everyone.

I think it's much more complicated than that, but I would go with the second option of the non-attached state.

Both good and bad habits are good in certain situations and bad in others. We are our chart, whether full of complications or perfectly normal. We cannot be what we are not. I think gaining wisdom on how to use what habit and when, in order to create harmony in life, is much more important.

I think self-improvement on some level happens automatically and is a by-product of interacting with life whether one is following a spiritual path or not. One something is born, growth is inevitable as per the rules of Nature.

This video from Ernst about Astrology, Fate and Freewill is one of my favorites. He even breaks down the percentages.

You should also watch the newest Avashtas course. I have changed the psychological nature of my chart and witnessed others do it. You can too.
