Hi Ernst/Others,

Birth Card 5 Clubs has 7H in the birth card spread (in 3rd position). It's also a card that appears on the ecliptic for 4 continuous years (age 37-40), making it to be quite a heavy theme for this BC, if I understand correctly.

How would one interpret these 4 years? Is it learning to not focus on fantasies of a love/desire nature at this point of time as they are unlikely to be of genuine inspiration? Or would this additionally also activate the BC connotation of experiencing yet "flying away" from the stressful 7H connotation, especially if the card has many planets in the spread?

The nature’s image for 7H is that of “many decaying and drying fruit on a tree”. Hearts are connected to emotions and emotional attachments - to things, to ideas, to beliefs, to people. There is only so much time and energy to enjoy our emotional connections. Eventually, both the tree and time cannot sustain the fruits forever and the fruits have to experience their demise, so that a new cycle can come into effect - new connections, new ideas, new beliefs, new people. Or a new cycle with the old ones.

I would think that those 4 continuous years would be about focusing on which fruits to pick and enjoy, and which ones to allow to decay and dry, which would eventually lead the 5C on to the next path after that 4 year period which would be of 9D, for which the nature’s image is “The earth giving up its nutrients and moisture to the growth of the seed”.

Hi Leela,

In my experience with the 7 of Hearts, I've noticed people who have this card prominent in their spread will often go on unplanned trips during that card period. Actually with all the 7's, I've noticed they get to a point where they just want to get out of their environment for a while so they will often go travelling on a whim, usually throwing a last minute trip together without much planning, and then they have the time of their life lol (particularly the 7 of Hearts).

I've also noticed the 7 of Hearts (7 of Diamonds too) being in play a lot when people are trying to get more outer validation or public support for their projects/work. I often associate this card with people who are entrepreneurs or otherwise have to participate in a lot of self-promotion and marketing, especially on social media. So essentially it can be someone trying to grow their brand, get new clients, or get more exposure and public support for their work due to a pre-existing lack of exposure in those departments.

So in addition to the internal emotional aspects of the 7 of Hearts that you mentioned, I would think as the Ecliptic card that those four years may have to do with a lot of wanderlust, perhaps a lot of travelling on a whim, making new connections, trying to reach new social heights, get more exposure, public validation, and emotional support for their creative endeavours.

That's an interesting way to look at it, in terms of continuous cycles of 7H leading to 9D. Though sometimes it feels like the lesson is being mercilessly hammered in, lol.

Interesting observations! Some of it is true for me too.
I wonder if it arises because the internal emotional stuff is at a limitation and end point, so a limitation in hearts segues into "clubs" and "diamonds" phase (if we look at the broader cycle from spades to diamonds)

@leela Yes, I think you're right about that.

The symbolism for the 7 of Hearts in the tarot as the 7 of Cups says it better, and it is easy to see why the 7 of Hearts could be so stressful. The man standing in front of the cups can choose what he wants. Will he choose the one that is right for him? Or will he learn it through experience?
