Yesterday, for the first time in decades, a bird pooped on me. It was the afternoon. The bird poop hit my right hand on the top, not the palm. Some of the bird poop also hit a bag I was carrying and a small closed umbrella.
People tell me this is good luck. I have to say I'm skeptical. I was mostly just pissed off at the bird yesterday.
I welcome interpretations or thoughts.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
In my culture, when a bird poops on you they say “go and buy a lottery ticket.”
I have been pooped on many times and some of them I bought that ticket->nothing came out.
What I believe about the omens is that when a person experiences some event radically different for the first time or in a while, it is important to think about the message. So, you did the right thing. The omens seem to be about the thought that was on one’s mind during the sign/omen taking place. Meaning, what were you thinking when the bird pooped on you? Or, it could be about a major issue that might have been occupying your life and mind recently. You might have asked for guidance or an answer subconsciously, so this could be the answer coming to you in its own way.
One more step deeper, the poop especially hit your right hand, which there are 3 important meridians passing on top of the hand->large and small intestines and triple heater meridians. These could be related to some things related to the Air and Fire elements.
The right side of the body is the initiative male side of our body.
In my opinion, there could be something that you are having a hard time letting go and taking actions about it. This stuckness might feel like it is robbing your joy and liveliness. This could be the sign the system is communicating with you to consider doing what’s essential….
I hope that this event will also prove good luck so that I might as well start believing in that 🙂
Thank you

Yes, I know what I probably was thinking about. The bird poop landed on the top of the hand that I broke punching a wall about it almost three years ago. First time I ever punched a wall like that. Broke my pinky at the knuckle where it joins the hand then.
I'm still angry about it and have had intrusive thoughts.
Thank you for taking the time to write out your reflection and interpretation.
Thanks for your interest, but the previous response got to the heart of it for me. Any further information in this case is extraneous.
