Namasta, do you have any information and reference on how eclipses influence?
Means,
1. Do eclipses influence an individual at all places or only those who can see ii?
2. There are different eclipses. Do they all influence or are just some eclipses considered?
3. Does an eclipse influence only the places where it it visible. Lets take an example of earthquakes. Will a place afflicted with earthquakes only be afflicted if the eclipse is visible there?

Hello, yes I did but it does not specificaly answer my questions. I mean in a way yes, Ernst does not mention it applies only to some. So from that we can assume that he does not see it that way but still I would like to have some specific answer to my questions.

It does not have to be visible to influence a person. It influences a person when it is close to some point in their chart. In respect to a country, it influences the country relevant to the ecplise chart cast for that country.
there was some thought that visible ecplises are more important, but I dont find this to be true. Its what it hits that matters.

He probably means the chart for the country, usually recorded when the country is created or when a new regime is formed, you can find those dates on various website like astrotheme or astrodatabank.
Eclipse chart for country is simply done by casting eclipse chart for the capital of the country. I n ever use birth time charts for predicting events of a country. .I just use local charts for the capital.
To see if an eclipse is productive or disruptive you have to determine the eclipse theme for the first eclipse in the 1600 year or so cycle. This is done pretty well in the book, the Eagle and the Lark. On occasion an eclipse is calculated wrong for its start of the cycle, but it gives all in all great results, 80 percent I would say of the time the themes stated happen.
