hi Ernst,

hi all,

In hellenistic astrology there is this concept of day charts (born before sunset) versus nights charts (born after sunset).

Supposedly a day chart makes the sun more prominent than the moon and vice versa in a night chart.

Supposedly a day chart makes mars more malefic and a night chart makes saturn more malefic.

Is this concept valuable and are there presumptions worthy or flawed from your experience and perspective?

greetings,

Jan

Hi Jan, yes, those are valid concepts and most of these are taken into account with Shad bala where there is a day/night strength calculation based on what planets are night strong or day strong .I dont know if the planets are exactly the same as used in hellenistic astrology. I think one or two differ.

Also, waning moon in night birth with sun below horizon is all aligned, and waxing moon, day birth and sun above horizon are all aligned and give a stronger foundation to the chart than if these things are mixed.
