I’ve just revisited the teachings abou the Rahu/Ketu axis in the 12th and 6th houses (with Rahu in the 6th house) and was once again reminded of the wisdom of Karma Yoga. In this context, I’ve been wondering whether other planetary positions in the 6th house might particularly emphasize a Karma Yoga mindset. For example, could Mars in the 6th house in Cancer be such an indicator—perhaps pointing to Karma Yoga through compassion and service? Karma Yoga is a fundamental life teaching that applies to everyone, but it seems to be a particularly important life lesson for some individuals.

The least karma yoga centered planet in the 6th is venus. VEnus is all about, I do this and i get paid that, I trade what I do, what I give, to get this or that. Venus in 6th can do a lot for others, but if a time comes they don't get what they were working for, what comes out is, "I did all that for nothing." The better the venus in 6th the less this is and the person will be able to appreciate what they learned, the adventures, the good stuff even though they did not get the payday they were working for. On the other hand, venus in 6th, will work very hard to get what it needs and wants.

So how is it with the combination of Ketu and Venus—is it more intense, but also possible to let go of this pattern with maturity and to realize that it's not about receiving an immediate fair share, and to see it with detachment? But even if the fair share doesn't happen right away and is instead balanced out at another time, it still wouldn't be a Karma Yoga mindset, since the win-win thinking would still be present—just in a more detached way...I guess it is very difficult for Venus in the 6th either way, to have the karma yogic attitude.
