Hi Ernst and friends,
I've been watching the videos on the vargas in depth specifically the Hora Varga . In the video that discusses the images and characteristic descriptions associated with the first (lagna) falling in the hora of the Moon/the Sun for each zodiac sign, I was under the impression that we are looking at the Lagna in the Hora chart. Is that correct?
Additionally, in the following video "The Effects of the Hora," which references both Saravali and Yavanajataka, there are again descriptions of a person's appearance/character based on the Lagna falling into different signs and their respective horas. I'm not clear whether these descriptions are additional to the "hora images" description and whether they relate to the position of the Lagna in the birth (Rasi) chart or the Hora chart.
Also, when the videos discuss the positions of the Sun, Moon, and other planets in a sign's horas, as well as the Lagna i mentioned above , are we referring to their positions in the Rasi chart or the Hora chart?
You take the lagna in the rasi and see if its sun or moon horo, so if lagna is taurus, you read the taurus results, It does not matter waht the hora lagna is, what matters is if taurus is sun or moon hora. Same for the planets .
hi Ernst, so just to be clear, whenever you talk in the "Vargas in depth" course about the lagna, planets etc with respect to specific varga, you basically look at their position in the rashi not in the varga chart is that correct?.
It depends, when it says, in aries and the hora of the sun, Aries refers to the sign in the rasi chart. Also, when it gives teh results of the saptamsa in a sign, the sign is based on the rasi. This is becasue they are talking about the horas or whatever, of a particular rasi.
