What role does intention play in the creation of karma?

The cause and effect of Nature's doings ripples across many lives and over many centuries affecting many generations - past, present and future. We only get to see a tiny fraction of the present. It is not enough to decipher the right and wrongs in the big scheme of things.

Ernst speaks quite a lot about these things in the aditya course. Maybe no so much about intention directly, rather about the circumstances and motivations - very close to intention - of the actions.

First, about karma´s law and judgment: I said earlier that I don´t think that there is an actual judge or judgment after each lifetime. Rather each sould knows where it belongs, whereto it has to go. My wife just told me this morning about Madame Blavatsky´s view on that matter, and she´s says exactly that. I didn´t know. The same idea can be seen in the movie What dreams may come with Robin Williams. Highly recommended!

There is much to this. Ernst tells us abou Vishnu´s gatekeepers that chose to be reborn three times as the meanest people there ever was, rather than seven times as saintlike people. Are there really going to be judged, or judged themselves, for their bad actions?

I´m envolved in a special case right now with a woman whose very mean and violent sister has been threatening her. This sister plotted against a man in her youth and had him assassinated. She went to jail for that and would still be rottening their, hadn´t her mother paid a hefty bribe to get her out. That same mother then lived for a long time as a prisoner in her own house, suffering from her psychopathic daugther´s abuse. But here is the thing: In that family, an ancestor had made a promise to a dark energy that one of his descendants would serve the evil. So this very bad person that I´ve been telling about took on that role, basically making a sacrifice for to establish the balance within the family. Her bad actions have to be judged with that in mind, I guess.

Here is a 5-minute video where Amma talks about karma. She also mentions astrology, which she hardly ever talks about in any way.
