I notice that the COT calculator places the planets using the tropical zodiac. Is there an option of using the sidereal zodiac if using the full software? Have anyone tried it with sidereal and found it more or less accurate?

In the next version of Kala and the next version of the COT it will have that option, but I strongly suggest not using it.

Thanks! I tried both and the tropical feels more correct. So… I looked at some Vedic charts using tropical zodiac. There is much overlap but the tropical seems slightly more accurate, and the dasas align more with people’s life. I’ve only looked at 2 charts, but it seems like tropical may be better. I’m here to learn COT but it opened up new doors to Vedic astrology.
