I've been studying the wonderful COT for about four years now and I've come to the point where I want to give online video readings. I need your advice on the best way to do this. My plan is to build a website of course, and to disseminate business cards in key points like health food stores, occult stores, etc, in the big french and Belgium cities (for now). And maybe for the beginning at least, to make the first consultation free.
Please share how you did it, do's and don'ts, and any advice you deem appropriate. Also what would be a reasonable price to ask for for an hour ?

As someone who is also still in the beginning stages, here are some things I would add to your approach that have been working for me anyway.
Rather than doing the readings entirely for free, consider doing donation-based readings or exchanging for some service (you read someone's cards, they make dinner for you, that type of thing). I have one teacher who was really adamant about this. He said even if you're reading for someone who is in really dire straits financially, have them give you a penny or loaf of bread or something, otherwise there is an exchange of energy happening and a debt the person you read for accrues. I'm not sure I agree with that, but I mostly still do donation-based.
I know a really common approach is also doing readings with a suggested donation of price X (Dustin Cormier does this for example).
I think prices will really depend on who and what exactly you are providing, so I wouldn't want to make any suggestions regarding that.
