Hi Ernst and All,

I want to build an altar in the East direction for Navagraha adoration. I have a piece of furniture with 9 position like image, Where can I place the planets correctly? I know the directions of graha, but because the altar is in the East and developed vertically, only Sun is correct.

tks

On something like that it may be most ideal to put them around in a circle with the straight up the east and go around the circle make the right side south, the bottom west and the left side north. then in the center put some other devotional picture maybe of Guru or Krishna, etc.

Ketu in the Graha sutra book miss of the direction. I have deducted from rahu (South -West) the opposite direction of ketu(North-East) the same direction of Jupiter. Is it correct? or Ketu have not a direction.

tks

Ketu does not have a direction this way, I put ketu next to rahu.

for each graha I have installed the murti deitys, but for some of them I dont understood the graha relating:

- HanumanJi: Saturn(vayu putra, wind sun)? sameone say Mars (maybe Mars is EX in Saturn Lord)

- Gaura Nitai: Venus(dancers bhakta)? Gaura should be a incanation of Radha-Krsna(?-Moon); Nitai invanation of Balarama -> Rahu; toughter are friend and dance and sing divine name; If one is Moon and other one is Rahu maybe I put them in two diffent direction...

- Visnu e Laskmi: Jupiter(like sambasiva)?

The deitys in Hindu are many many many...and variegated like chocolate 🙂

many tks

It snot always easy to find linear relationships between deities and planets. Hanuman is an incarnation of Vayu, but in what context, so that can be venus or saturn.

What is important is the element. Its the element of air that does all the work in our evolution via processin grief, removing traumas, and in pranayama which wins the spirutal war. Thus in hindu myth, the greatest hero always is air element. Thus in ramayana it is hanuman.
