Trying to decode what my body is trying to tell me with a random twitch in my left thumb, it's already happened on 3 occasions in the last 24 hours. I started a detox 3 days ago, I'm wondering if my body is telling me to go gentle and just eat fruit for a while rather than the slightly more radical "fruit juice only" detox that I had planned. I have issues with malabsorption and adrenal fatigue so I tend to get very weak very fast when I live on liquids only. But it could be an omen for something else, I'm open to suggestions.

The thumb is used for gripping.  Left: the recceptive side. So don´t stop receiving stuff that you need. Sounds to me like you have decoded the message already. Maybe even just eating fruits is too radical for you, but juice only for sure, it seems.

My wife, a natural healer with 15 years of experience and very intuitive, chips in: The thumbs represent the head. So: time to let go of some ideas.

Further she says about the malabsorbtion: help the intestine eating fruit, drink enough water, vegetables rich in fibre. Cinnamon, ginger and curcuma tea (small quantities since it might irritate the intestine). Also flax.

It´s, according to her, an omen about the need of letting go. Something that you already are aware of, but so far haven´t had the courage to let go of.

As for the adrenal fatigue: Problems with anger? Detox with epsom salt.

@staffan This makes so much sense, thank you for your input. Yes, the thumb is crucial for dexterity and it's what separates humans in their abilities from other animal species, right? So perhaps I also need to be receptive to developng new skills (Gemini-type)?
And yes, definitely time to let go of some ideas that are keeping me discontented and disconnected from others, this already started with a psychologically challenging and transformative journey back home recently. I realized I am too critical of others and have expectations that are simply not acknowledging the individual differences of every person on Earth, we can't all be the same and shouldn't be. With the COT system the 9 of Diamonds has been my ecliptic card for 2 years in a row, so I think my Virgo Ketu is really being worked on.
Hopefully letting go of my unhealthy food addictions 🙂 Working on it!
How do I detox with epsom salt?

@nkan

I struggle with the same card as you, 9 of Clubs, it´s just that I have it on my Saturn position. And my Saturn is bad, so... We had a niece of my wife over yesterday, a 9-year-old 5 of Spades; same pattern: closed off, picky, not open to life, intolerant. Her Moon card: 9 of Clubs. It´s a tough card! Or, if you prefer to look at it from another angle: once you master it, the premium must be huge!

Epsom salt detox: You drink a lot of apple juice, the more natural the better, for a week. It prepares the ducts (?) for the extraction of the stones in the liver. When it´s time for the detox itself, at 6PM you take a spoonful of epsom salt with a glass of water. At 8 pm you repeat it. Between 9.30-10: if you haven´t had a seat (on the WC), it´s time to have one. 10 PM: a glass, standing at the side of your bed, half a glass of castor oil or in lack thereof olive oil, mixed with natural grape juice or, in lack thereof, the mixed juice of orange and lemon. Same quantity or a little more. You lay down on your bed, preferably on your right side, in fetal position. Try to sleep. Go to the toilet when you need. 6 AM in the morning: a spoonful of epsom salt again with a glass of water. 8 AM: salt and water for the last time. Ready to go. Observe what´s coming out of your liver...

@staffan very interesting, I've been into the detox stuff for a while but never heard this one. I will give it a go, I have a very long detox journey ahead of me with many things to transform and heal 🙂
Yeah I'm a 9C birth card, so... lotsa 9s, lotsa Kings 😀 6 of Hearts in the Averted (Jupiter). It's an interesting ride. Life is tough for all of us here on Earth.
I have 2H on my Moon card though so not as closed off to life or people as you might think.

@nkan Oh no, I don´t believe that your are closed off, and that´s not the impression I get of you at all. I just believe that there are areas in life that your mind protects and that you have to open up. Just as me, just as everyone, basically.

I saw the movie Amelie from Montmartre yesterday - Forced By Wife/Life - and was badly confronted with myself; I have such a hard time with that movie for some reason. It triggers me. The intolerance of 5 of Clubs (judgment card) can be unbearable. I want to hang up another warning on the cards section in the forum: "Beware of fives!" 😆

We are a lot like the Kings I believe (and nines, I guess); we really have to let go of the ego. But while the Kings openly want to dominate and you can relate to that, the fives tend to be backseat drivers; controlling from a hidden, safe place. Energy thieves actually. Quite horrible. I don´t recommend us. Well, in a way i do, because we are also very much struggling people. But if you ever encounter a five you must call their bluff. After that they can be the best friends.
