None of them apply from what I can see.
What to think? It´s too late for us to tell him to stop pretending he´s a musician now...

@santakri I didn´t know about that indication, Ernst doesn´t have it on his list of indiciations for career planets. But I´m happy if there is an explanation!

I wonder where the indication comes from though; as I said it´s not on Ernst´s list. Is it Jaimini?

@staffan Cap is a feminine sign, we count in reverse, which puts the Moon in the 10th.
The 10th house is a carrier or the most public thing others are able to see. So it needs to be important than we look at carrier. especially if it is repieting itself .
I think that main focus needs to be on DB Jupiter, because it is AK, more so it is Lagna lord- it has neechabhanga yoga. So.. Mars and Moon entering into equation.
ether/ Jupiter is hearing, sound and vocal cords by itself (5 elements )
This is my best take on the chart regarding carrier. 🙂

@santakri Right, I forgot about reverse.
To my understanding the 10th house does not indicate the profession according to Ernst though. That, if we talk about the houses, would be the lagna. "What we are." The 10th would be more about how. If Sun is there: we will shine and probably lead or be independent, Mercury: skills etc. But it would not, to my understanding, indicate the career per se.
Jupiter is ether and hearing alright, but it´s still not one of the planet for muscian that Jaimini mentions, to my understanding.
Good try saving Mark Knopflers career/Jaimini astrology, but I still wonder... 😉

I haven't study Jaimini.
But he has Moon in the 2nd (voice) and the very auspicious parivartana 2-5 Moon - Mars.
Additionally he has an stainless yoga for inspiration. With the opposition Jupiter and Mars (Mars lord of 2 and 9) (Jupiter lord of 1 and 10).
I guess the db of both of them becomes super secondary.
Very happy and fortunate in his powerful inspiration.
