Hello!

I am just working myself through the Varshaphala Audio Course. In the Audio Varshaphala 2, Ernst states that (at the moment if these Audios) the meaning of the Persian Word “Munthaha” was not found in dictionaries . I typed that question in Chat GPT and got following answer for you guys to read and of course rectify if not correct:

The name “Munthaha” (منتهی) in Persian (and also in Arabic) originates from the root meaning “ultimate,” “extreme,” “end,” or “culmination.” It is derived from the Arabic word “انتهى” (intaha), which means “to end” or “to reach the utmost limit.”

In a broader sense, Munthaha can signify the highest point or the ultimate level of something. In Islamic and mystical contexts, it is sometimes used metaphorically, as in “Sidrat al-Muntaha” (the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary), which represents the farthest boundary of human knowledge or the divine realms in Islamic tradition.

In Persian usage, the word maintains a similar sense, often signifying a state of reaching one’s highest potential or limits. It’s a name imbued with a sense of aspiration and finality.

Wonderfuf, thank you! So we can interpret it I think as the point of most extreme focus.

Also, don't forget the sign the muntha falls into, that sign becomes a huge point of effort and if its bad in the birth chart, that makes it very challenging!
