As I have been checking charts with Jamini techniques on determining children I have realized that many cases have a chance of having children which never happens. For example they don't get married, they start trying very late specially in women's chart, diseases , .....
So it seems that the Jaimini technique works for the number of children if the people are having children.
but that "If" must be seen from other aspects of Jyotish as well. I s this correct?
That is what I believe to be correct too. I asked this on the forum some months ago. You can maybe search for it.
But yeah, children and predicting the number of children is very difficult to do. You have to weigh in the timing of the woman's ability to conceive, health, affairs yes or no, whether the person is in a relationship at all, other relationships in the past that might have had pregnancies. And to do all of that is a big task!
It is like what Ernst has said, Ideally you want the charts of a couple to really be more accurate with children. 'It takes two to tango'.
I have found the jaimini technique for children to be great for seeing miscarriages/abortions. I have been surprised with those! But finding the exact number of children one will have, I have found to be very difficult and frankly don't even try unless I have other information to really do that.
