Hi there, which planet represents furniture?  Venus?  I'm obsessed with interior decorating and furniture, and I would like to become a buyer one day, maybe even on an international scale.  I love finding perfect pieces for rooms.  The problem is I never have the money for it.

I look at the D4 for my wealth, but also for how to decorate my home, and how to bring in money as an interior decorator/buyer, because it represents my home, right?

In my D4, my (healthy) Venus is in Aries in the 12th house, and sure enough, I always find the PERFECT piece of furniture when I have no money.  But when I buy it with the last of my credit, I love it for years and years and I get a ton of joy out of it.  I let a perfect Bauhaus clock slip through my fingers a couple years ago and I've been on the hunt for another one since.  I will not buy another clock until I find that specific one.  I found a gorgeous couch on kijiji this week and I can't get it out of my mind, I've been measuring and remeasuring spaces in my place to see where I could put it.  I'm trying to relax and breathe...

How can I do a remedy for Venus in the 12th in the D4?  I want to be able to save up enough money to buy (and eventually sell) furniture/textiles.  Should I just start buying from foreign countries on credit?  I know that sounds dangerous, but the 12th house is about foreign places, as well as loss of money... is that kind of like credit?  What can I look at to see if I'll actually make a *profit* from the 12th house purchase?  My Venus has a nice angle to Ketu in the 2nd house.

(And sorry if this is the wrong category, I still don't know the categories.)

Thank-you, everyone.

Also, does anyone do financial advising based on the D4?  Is there a course for that?  I would love to learn.

Yes, venus is furniture. Any planet in the 12th is a planet we do not make money from unless its a VERY long term investment. So its not good for buying and selling for profit. But if the planet is in good dignity, its great for buying things that a person loves. We have a 12th house so that we spend on things that are worth it to US to spend on. But its not for profit. Mercury is the key planet in the D4 to help see an ability to get ahead financially. As well as the 4th and 4th lord.

Thank-you for the response on this.  It's too bad Venus and Pluto in the 12th house are wasted, as they seem to be the best thing going for me in the D4.

But if I notice that I gain things when I LEAVE a home (like I get more deposit money than I initially paid, etc), that could mean that I gain from moving, or perhaps... selling a home, right?  My mom is encouraging me to get into real estate so the D4 would have a double meaning for me I guess?

-- In terms of becoming a lender to people who are struggling with mortgage payments- I should be looking at the 6th house, right?  My 6th lord is in the 12th house- so doesn't that automatically mean I'll be losing money?  If I'm the one defining the lending terms and the exit strategy, could I gain?

-- In terms of becoming a landlord, I should be looking at the 8th house (the space other people take up in your property) correct?  My 8th house has conflict in it- mars, saturn and rahu.  But because my rahu is there, that means I should still be trying to work through the issues in this house, right?

-- In terms of becoming a fix and flipper, that's mars and saturn, and they've got an opposition to Neptune in my second house of savings, so that tells me I'll probably be fleeced by contractors.  I know because I ALWAYS get fleeced by car mechanics (mars and saturn).  We do tend to work it out, but I do distrust those people.

I found this recording about the D4 by a teacher named Freedom Cole. I'm not sure what you think of him, but this is what he says about how to interpret the D4, at least in terms of interpreting it for your house.  (Just because you said in your video that there wasn't too much available on it.)

0:10-5:50- Feng Shui
6:45-mars is Karaka for land, ketu is Karaka for buildings, Saturn is the Karaka for Vastu (the Indian science of arrangement).  When you take land (mars) and bake it into a brick, it becomes ketu.
4th house shows the house itself.  The state of the home, the condition of the property.
5th house shows the person's power and authority in the house, and renters who pay money to sustain the land. (2nd from the fourth).  If someone wants to be a landlord and there are malifics in the house, they're not going to get very good renters.
6th house shows damage to the property, vandalism, breakage.  Putting an offer in and losing that offer.
7th house shows business agreements related to property.  The leases you sign, all the paperwork regarding housing.
8th house shows loss of space, like for children, renters, or others to live.  You're loaning the space to someone.
16:57- 9th house- the 6th from the fourth, so the labour put into the property, to affect the well-being of the ascendant (the person).  This is primarily for people who own land.
21:37- the Lagna lord shows one's ideals about property.  If it's in its own sign, it will show high ideals.
22:50- 10th house- how often the person gets to be there, given their career.
11th house- as 8th from the fourth, shows loans that make the gain of land.  Also shows the inheritance of land.
12th house- as 9th from the fourth, the gains and prosperity that come from the loss of the land, ie. selling the land.  The 9th house is always the house of protection, protecting the owner.
24:00-2nd house is gains from property, from selling, renting or appreciation.
26:00- 3rd house- journeys away from the home.  Leasing of property, and how the relationship goes from being away from the property.
26:30- if you want to do this for vehicles, use the exact same interpretation, but in the d16.

Also, the 12th house is the basement of the house too, right?  Where people throw the stuff they don't want to deal with?
