Hi, I am looking at a chart, D2 where Tara Arkamsa at birth starts with Li/Li. Ve is exalted conjoined a debilitated Rahu. I guess that makes the person a Sri Mantaha with a lot of room for gains in life. The problem is the person is already in their 40s and financially about average or even slightly below. Li dasa end when they are 4, no special wealth there. Then Sc dasa is aspected by 9lord Su - so it should be a turning point for 11bhava matters. Its lord Ma is 11lord and is in GE, however it conjoined OH Me and OH Ke. Sc is also 11 from karaka Ju who is debilitated. One could expect an increase in gain here, but nothing special took place. Then Sg dasa comes and its lord is db, so this should be good for expansion and yet nothing special happens. Maybe this can be explained by absence of 11 bhava related factors here. Cp dasa come and its lord is Ni, but conjoined by 2 OH Me and Ke and Ge Mars, so there should be room for gains especially as Ma is 11lord. Again no increase in wealth of any kind. Aq dasa is the same as Cp with the addition of being aspected by exalted 9lord. No increase. Pi dasa has a debilitated lord and aspect by 9lord. No increase of wealth. Now the person is in Ar dasa which holds 11cusp and exalted 9lord. Its lord is conjoined by two OH grahas and one N. In the relevant antardasa of Ar/Le (Le holds 9cusp and aspected by its exalted lord) the person actually had an increas of wealth, they earned more money the ever before. But nowhere near an amount I would expect from The promising condition of the lord of the first dasa...(I am taking here the chart of J.P. Morgan fro comparison from the teaching videos).

What is your experience with this dasa? Is there anything that lowers the bar? I have checked and there are no kemadruma or similar adverse yogas. Could D60 and sva dasa reveal why this is so? Or maybe D40 and chatustaya dasa? Could being young somehow make auspicious dasas in above case irrelevant somehow? What would you do here? I know this is a bit longish and apologize. Kind regards!

@ernst Of course. March 29, 1979, 10:38 am, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Thank you for your willingness to have a look. I find the chart perplexing as there is quite some auspicious stuff and I don't know what brings down or delays the good things.

Ok, so yes, with venus exalted the person should be doing pretty good for wealth. The problem with this dasa is that it takes the nakshatra and divides it by 12, so slight changes in nakshatra calculation can make a huge difference to the dasa start in certain cases when the sun is on the edge of a nakshatra portion. So this is a good example to keep to refine nakshatra calculations which I still do not believe are 100% correct.

@ernst Thank you very much. So, I guess it may still happen for him to get some wealth provided the dasa remains Li/Li.

I would not predict that as I don't t hink its a safe prediction based on him having two shamed planets on the 10th cusp. To verify that I would look at his wealth planets and see if t they have delaying factors that would have prevented wealth until later. second lord sun is in 11th, which indicates early wealth, but that did not happen. Jupiter in asc indicates early wealth. 11th lord is aspected by Ketu but with mercury and jupiter so that is wealth neither early or later. so no, I don't think he will becoming significantly wealthier.

@ernst Interesting. I have not taken the avashtas course yet. Are wealth planets explained there? If not in this course, which would you recommend? I was also going to predict at least some success for this chart because all planets except Ju are forming unobstructed argalas and 11 named yogas are present. Now I wonder if lajjitaadi can overcome all this.

For wealth start with the concrete chart and varga analysis with Jaimini. When I get to the 2nd house I cover a lot of basic wealth principles.
