Dear Ernst, when you used sidereal rasis what was the ayanamsa you used, or found most accurate? Ardra Galactic Plane? Also, did you use equatorial longitude, ecliptic longitude or neither with sidereal rasis?
When i used sideral i used Ardra Galactic plane with no special options.
no one does. I am the first and only person to have programmed any of that or made any mention of it. Most astrologers who read the surya siddhanta dont understand the polar longitude, which is the Dhruva. Even Lahiri when they adopted the chitra ayananmsa under his advice did not realize that the longitudes given for chitra star were in polar longitude, not eclipitic longitude. Later he said, he made a mistake and recalculated it for dhruva position of chitra. That matches the ardra galactic plane.
However, no one other than me ever tried to plot planets in relationship to dhruva nakshatras.
The chinese do plot their nakshatras all equatorially though and its possible that if they did calculate planets still for their astrology they would do it all equatorially.
of course if you are making both rasis and naksahtras with the same calculations, then you can combine them as one meaning, but if using one sidereal and one tropical, you can't combine as 2 meaning, you then have to combine as moving layers.
