Will Kala work with any Virtual machines on the new Mac Book Air (M3)?

I have had to buy a new Mac book Air (M3 chip) - does anyone know the latest workaround to install Kala (I have not upgraded to 2023 version as I have been waiting to get my new computer)?

I have heard of some "Virtual machines" but I have no idea about them, so if that has worked for anyone, then which one???
