Dear Ernst

When we are looking at the effects of a mundane chart such as an eclipse  on the world (besides the saros cycle) we calculate the chart for Yamakutti. when we want to see it's effects on  a particular country, we calculate it's chart for the Capitale of that country. Well there are 204 countries and only 12 ascendants.

For many regions with small countries such as Europe, the eclipse chart will be the same for many countries.

Logically to differentiate between the countries, Vargas Specially Shashtiamsha become Important.

Is this correct? Have you had any experience in looking into the Shahtiamsha of Mundane charts?

Yes, you need to use the vargas just like you would use for people. So use all of them depending on what you want to examine.
