@ernst,

The full planetary aspects of Saturn, Jupiter are basically tajika aspects too expressed differently. Mars' 4th aspect is a square. But Mars' 8th aspect is the only planetary aspect that is not a tajika aspect. Have you seen Mars' 8th aspect to work in Tajika as well? It would be more rare since Mars can only be in ithasala with Ju or Sa.

Aspects each have their own purpose, so no, mar's 8th aspect does not work as a tajika aspect. However, if you do prashna or varshaphala, you can use mars aspect, but not for formation of Tajika yogas, which is what Tajika aspects are for.
