In the card system we don´t evaluate the lajjitaadi avasthas based on dignity. Or rather the jaagradadi avasthas. I guess we should?

Lajjjitaadi is based on rulership, not dignity.

@ernst Yes, but in the avasthas course we are taught to see to what degree the effect of the lajjitaadi avasthas come through, depending on the jaagradadi avasthas, right? So let´s say a sleeping planet can´t hurt an enemy that much, even if there is for example starving going on. We use the two types of avasthas together, don´t we? In astrology, that is.

No, I no longer use the jagraadadi avasthas to see the extent of influence. THe most useful are the 4 strengths of uccha, dig, chestha and subha phala.
