I would need some help interpreting the Varshaphala chart of my son. My son is currently going through puberty – he has always had difficulties in school and struggles with concentration. This year, or rather since last year, things have become especially difficult. His teachers are recommending Ritalin due to his previously diagnosed ADHD (Without the "H"of Hyperactivity!). He himself is suffering from the fact that “nothing” seems to work out, and he also feels like an outsider.

I can see in his current Varshaphala that things might not necessarily improve. However, his Moon has an exceptionally high score in all areas, and his Venus is also much stronger than it was the previous year. I’ve only just started the Varshaphala course and can only grasp the basics so far.

Muntha and Varsha Pati being in the 8th house is certainly not good, even though Jupiter, at least, is a benefic. The Muntha Lord, Mercury, is not particularly strong and has more enemies than friends, but it is placed in the 5th house, which is not bad in itself. The Moon is in the 7th house and is the lord of his Lagna in Scorpio.

Taurus is the sign of the Death Saham – he very often talks about feeling life-weary, which is of course very alarming to me and the reason why I am also taking him to a psychologist. However, I wonder if it really can be that bad with such an excited Moon (15 Harsha points)? And I’m also wondering whether a Saturn/Rahu/Venus conjunction in the Varshaphala can be just as intense as it would be in a transit over the natal chart.

I have heard, however, that the lunar nodes don’t carry as much weight in Varshaphala. Maybe someone can say more about the severity of the influences this year and also point out some positive trends. That would really help me a lot – thank you all!

He is running Sa/Ra Dasa - which I suppose might be quite tough for a 15th young!

P.S. I added tow charts- year 15 of his solar year and year 0 his natal chart

I have found the lajjita avastha in varshaphala does in fact come into play. Even by same lord conjunction. So, an ashamed experience of some sort, comes into effect. Though, not as dominating as it would in the same sign in the natal birth chart. But this has been my direct experience. So, in the varshaphala, I would say the ashamed Me and Ve have a producing experience here. The Dainya yoga between Ju and Me should add a crisis element of some sort, especially since Ju is the year lord in 8th and rules muntha which has this lajjita avastha occurring...Ju is important this year for sure... Me is quite weak and inauspicious here. Curious if Me and Ve are in Yuddhi? Seems like seeing a therapist could be of help here. His Ju maturation is occurring and his Ju is nice in lagna in natal chart - Should be positive help there.

He is in the dasa of a planet in the 8th....always difficult. Sa is 8th lord in D9. Ra's lord is in 8th...

He is 15, can't necessarily expect a 15 year old to express the more refined qualities of the 8th house. But Ju in lagna, and exalted Sa in 8th should help him get through this, just glancing at his charts here.

Be curious if the outer planets are hitting a cusp closely? Pluto hitting 4th cusp in year 15 chart?

@scott-m-19 thanks a lot! I'm not yet very familiar with the yogas, but this Daniya yoga is interesting, which also creates a problem with education. I completely ignored his Jupiter maturation. Thanks for the reminder! Are the avashtas and the outer planets also included in the Varshaphala course or have you tested this for yourself? We went to a really great homeopath yesterday, she picked my son up from where he is and recommended a remedy for him. Plus nutritional supplements.
…It's hard to grow!

@scott-m-19 sth else- I wonder if an exalted and very excited Moon in Varshaphala not being Muntha or Varsha Pati and not being trashed by other factors is able to elevate an overally trashed Varshaphala possitively as it is the consciousness and feelings? thank you

@tamarap

Honestly I see that Moon in Taurus in 7th with 7th lord in 5th with Ra and Mo and Ve are both excited is probably him being excited for 7th house stuff for a 15 year old boy - sex and girls.

No, the course doesn't include avasthas but I found found shamed planets have an impact on the year if they are in the varshaphala. They have there theme you could say...No, outer planets are not in the course but I found that when they are close to something, they too have a say. You can always just use the basic tajika aspects and everything, but the chart is a chart and you can use other methods too but I don't stray too much outside tajika for this.
