In the context of studying Astrology, I never really had any hang ups around the Ayanamsa debate, sidereal vs. tropical, etc. I was just simply fascinated by the possibility that there is something true about interpreting the celestial omens with the life I was experiencing.

Since studying the Adityas, it seems that more to the mystery is unfolding that is true. The interpretations of the Aditya and Rsi are deeply accurate and helpful. For example, the Aditya and Rsi of Mitra reveal that our consciousness has three potentials. So we have the ability to effort and shape ourselves, as well as be shaped by our relationships with others. What goes into our consciousness, what we do repeatedly over and over will shape our reality and our being. Before, studying the Adityas, I had absolutely believed I was an "Aquarian- Sun", because the chart calculations that were popularly available confirmed this. Without question I assumed this was true despite any subtle and silent concerns I may have experienced internally. I automatically assumed this was the truth.  For many years even prior to studying astrology, I had hypnotized myself into an identity of Aquarianism. So whether or not I am Aquarian Sun or a Parjanya Sun individual, the Adityas do seem to reveal a deeper archetypal truth to the inner workings of mind and being. Its empowering and terrifying that we have the capacity to deceive ourselves so easily without even knowing it.

Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?
