cats and dogs

This one is kind of funny. Not so much as it was happening because it felt like the universe was shaming me, but I appreciated it later. 

I got pulled in to an argument today. As the first insults were hurled, the dogs in my neighbourhood all started barking at once. Once the argument came to a standoff (neither party willing to concede), the dogs started up barking again, even louder. Only this time, I also heard one lone cat. It seems like all the dogs were trying to go after this one cat. The argument ended with no resolve and me fleeing the room to get out of the line of fire.
