Dear friends,

I am new and wanted to say hi 🙂 Loving the videos so far. Have followed Ernst for a long time on YouTube.

But I need some help.

My software doesn't tell me where the bhava cusps are! Could anyone be so kind as to tell me where they are in my chart, as I use Parashara's Light, not Kala yet. This concept is new to me.

Birth details:
Nick Michie
23 Aug 1987
14:20
Hemel Hempstead (UK)

Also I thought I had 4 combust planets, and planetary war (Yuddha) between Mars and Venus, but now I don't know! Any advice is welcome. But Bhava cusps most important.

Nick

Hi Nick and welcome. Am happy to input your birth data into Kala and post back your chart here in a couple hours.

Hi Nick,

This is your chart with the cusps. You can see the combust planets where there's a "C" in the top right corner.

Looks like Venus won the war. You can see that in the bottom right corner, YudB line.

I will be posting the screenshots of the calculation options for the house system and Naksthatras (Ernst's recommendations)

Hope this helps,

Mona

Which ayanamsha do you use? It looks a little different from what I'm used to. I'm always open to new angles 🙂 thanks again for doing this

@nickmichie23 If you look at the third file I've attached, you'll see exactly the one I use (starts with Dhruva). That's the Ayanamsa that Ernst recommends and uses and I've found it very relevant for me career-wise and Rahu/Rahu dasa description also. I think only Ernst uses that as well as some/most of his students.

@mona Ok, yes I'm sure I'll get to that. Still on the Jyotish Building Blocks so it's all a little new to me. Thanks again for your help.
