Mercury being neuter means that he is the planet that helps us create and find a way in life that is not the usual. Thats why he is such a help to rahu and ketu, especially to Rahu.

Hi Ernst,

You said the wife is the power of the deity. What meaning would the son or daughter have in a similar way?

I am looking at Brihaspati’s son, Kacha, in relation to Shukra’s resurrection while trying to understand Venus and it’s Avasthas. And, Shukra’s daughter, Devyani, in relation to Kacha.

Funny that the teacher of the asuras rules the heart. Haha. But I understand it now. Looking to see if there are other mythologies about the fallen angel Lucifer to compare with Shukra.

children take a lot of thought, they are the result of the parents of course, but you have to focus on what hte parents are to get what the kids are.

Hi Ernst,

You talk about connecting to Jupiter’s joy or inspiration, and I have started understanding what you mean.

But, if we look at the Moon as the individual consciousness, and Tara as Jupiter’s joy, and if the individual consciousness (Moon) is happy to lose itself in Jupiter’s joy, why does Jupiter want the individual consciousness (Moon) to give up it’s joy (Tara) by sending Indra?

The individiual consciousness is always limited. It needs to push onwards, that is why after Jupiter comes saturn, the planet of endings. So all good things need to pass, and a new level of depth of consciousness and joy mined.

Thanks, Ernst. Poor Moon. It’s a carrot on a stick. Not fair. Where’s the complaint department?
