Short and sweet, if one would concider ONLY one thing, would planetery releationships be first? eg. avashtas compared to the rasi and bhava placement mechanic.
Lets say someone has mars in ascendant but ascendant being libra, would not mars be the strongest personal perimeter if all lordships and dignity of Venus and Libra also being considered equal-ish.
Alternative phrasing:
- Rasi and Bhava? Different aspects of the same coin with regards to personal chart reading. I'm disregarding lords, dignity and nakshastra for this one.
- Graha compared to rasi vs bhava: more of an embodyment of the person rather than the landscape and finesse in where and how it occurs?
of course it is never just one thing, but perhaps if you are studying you could do Rasi and Bhava together. Aries is the natural 1st house, Taurus the 2nd and so on. So you could focus on one and accomplish both. As far as most important thing to focus on, Ernst has discussed that through "self factors" and also focal bhavas. At the top of the list we see Lagna and Lagna Lord.
I see lagna and lagna lord having more weight than a graha in the lagna or strongly aspecting it. For example, my husband is a Cap lagna with Mars there, but it’s not obvious that Mars is there until he shows it. Saturn is in his 12th and he’s very much an outside in secluded nature or laying on the couch type of person. The things he does, he does extremely well. But you don’t really see that until it happens. He really is like a croc 🐊
@karinia Interesting. In my case, Venus in Lagna Aries. Mars in Aqu 11th, but conjunct 12th cusp. People see my Venus and people see my Aries, but they don't see my Mars.
That succesful Mars of your husband appears just when necessary? Great. Some Mars in angles are so noisy.
@marianela when he thinks it’s necessary 😂 and for full transparency mine is in the 7th so I think that makes it more doable
I think it´s like asking a car mechanic whether he would rather use a pair of players or a wrench. It all depends on the task.
