Hi Ernst,

I just finished listening to "Important Graha and impotant Bhavas in the Drekkana" video. Since there are no example charts to listen to, I sort of came up with how i would analyze the Drekkana chart. Would you confirm if i am on the right track?

1. Examine the Rasi to confirm the position of the planets in the Drekkana chart (D-3)

2.  If the planet is in the 1st Drekkana - the deity is Narada - creative will that wishes to bring about new ideas and things. If the planet is in the 2nd Drekkana - the deity is Agastya - preservative will that wants to maintain things while maximizing those things. If the planet is in the 3rd Drekkana - the deity is Durvasa - destruction will that wants to uproot things so that better things can eventually be done

3. Look at the Lajjitaadi Avvasthas of these 3 Drekkanas to determine if the will creates happiness or unhappiness with everyone involved since the Drekkana has to do with the dealings with associates, teammates and siblings. How well does a person get along with others and how productive is the association with others...

4. Analyze the condition of the main Grahas Mars, 3rd Bhava, 6th Bhava and 9th Bhava in the Drekkana chart

5. Read the forms/images of the Drekkanas to visualize the person

Anything else? Thx!

@ernst thanks! I would like to ask you for a quick clarification - When I look at the Lajjitaadi Avastha of the planets, do i look at the planet in Rasi chart or in the Drekkana chart D-3?

Also for the images, let's say the Sun is in Capricorn at 12 degrees in the Rasi, so the Sun would be in the 2nd Drekkana in Taurus in D-3. For the images description, i would be reading Capricorn, 2nd Drekkana, correct?

Look at Lajjitaadi Avastha in Rasi chart. As lajjitaadi avasthas consider planetary aspects we are not to  use them in vargas. You can use Deeptaadi Avasthas in Vargas and they are somewhat parallel to the Lajjitaadi Avasthas.

@ernst Thanks Ernst! What about my second question?

Also for the images, let's say the Sun is in Capricorn at 12 degrees in the Rasi, so the Sun would be in the 2nd Drekkana in Taurus in D-3. For the images description, i should be reading Capricorn, 2nd Drekkana description, correct and Not Taurus 2nd Drekkana description, right?
