Okay, so having looking more into fatal degree's, something I have noticed is that various informational sites on this also list mandi in ones chart as having a fatal degree attribute. Is there any particular reason why for this, and why just that one?

I really dont know why mandi is the only one given importance. I have not given to much thought about these upagrahas because first there is so much to still to understand on the real planets, and, there are calculation controversies on the upagraha calculations and trying to figure out something where there is no information on that may not even be calculated correctly is years of work and there are just more important things to get done.
