Just like that, musing about a Saturn encounter today:

Today, I yield to the old white-bearded man who sweeps the floor. To me, he is the embodiment of Saturn. With childlike, sparkling eyes and a slightly melancholic expression, he says something comforting, urging me to stop and stand by his side, to sweep the street with him—one stroke after another—sweeping away the things that weigh on me.
His silence is truly soothing, dissolving everything in its vast embrace. Or at least, I wish it would. I long to stop looking toward the end of the street.

The young woman and the old man.

Yet still, I ask him, "How can I let go?" He replies, "Go with the sweeping, one stroke at a time. Let your feelings flow with the motion. Be sad, but don't cling to it.”

Sadness is less painful than emptiness.

“So I should hold onto it?" I ask. "Then there's no help," the old man says. "Or perhaps, you could create something beautiful from it. “

I said goodbye to him and looked back one last time. He continued sweeping the street with an old twig broom, completely absorbed. It was a beautiful sight, and I felt inspired.
