Apologies if this is very basic as an observation and has already been discussed. I just got to thinking about the dig bala of the planets, particularly Sun and Venus.
So Venus can never be more than two signs away from the Sun.
Sun has its highest dig bala in the 10th, Venus in the 4th - opposites.
Is this a reference to the idea that almost always in life, in order to focus on self actualization, following our path, being dedicated to our career/craft - we need to then sacrifice (to a degree) relationships, comfort, worldly pleasures? And of course the opposite - if we are too attached to our enjoyments and comfort, immediate gratification of the senses, socializing with friends and relatives, then that will lead to us sacrificing our greater ambitions?
I'm just wondering then about Venus as a planet that can support our career and advancement in life. Say Sun is high in dig bala, and Venus is forming a solar yoga (Vosi/Vesi), then Venus will to a degree help this person's ambitions. But then we also have the rule "when Venus is in the 10th, no yogas will be produced in his Dasa". This puzzles me a bit. What has your experience been with low dig bala Venus, and Venus dasa in such charts? Thank you in advance.
Yes, this shows there are two kinds of people, those who are focused on self and those focused on working with the world around them. Venus can support our career if its focused on career but it does not make career for the same reason sun does. Sun makes career as a person is simply living as themsevles, venus m akes career in order to interchange with the world.
