Could the card spreads be used to interpret the messages of departed souls for their loved ones who are seeking any answers from them?

So we have to do the arcana and card spreads primarily for the departed soul and not the person asking the question.
Similarly with past life spread, we are casting a spread for the departed soul (and not for person who is asking the question) and seeing what involution and evolution he achieved before passing and what karmic balance he took away.
Or we can simply use the pull it spread for every question they want to get answered from the departed soul. Or a sun lodge spread for what departed soul is thinking about the person asking the question?

You can pull any spread you want for any purpose you want. You decide. There is no magic to a spread, past life spread does not work on past lives because the cards are laid down in that specific way, it works on past life spreads becasue that is the intention when the cards are laid down. SO, the spread does not matter, the intention does. YOu can use a compatiblity spread to answer any question too.
