Hello Ernst, hope you are good!

I would like to ask 2 questions. In your compatibility course you speak often about planets in the 4th from Moon or Lagna. Whats the significance about the 4th house from that positions? I missed that 🙂

When analysing the masculine or feminine qualities in man or woman you say that in woman you look for the Ascendent and Moon and for man Ascendent and Sun. I am doubtfull of that because the Moon represents the mind. I understand our psychophysical natur in the way that I look for the psychological traits at the moon and I look at the Lagna and Lagna Lord as physical nature/character etc. or Varna. So if a Sun has very strong masculine tendencies but the Moon has very much feminine tendencies (in man) then there is a mixed picture and I think if we dont consider that one misses something. What you think about that?

Thanks and kind regards

The foundation is moon for women and sun for men, no matter what. It helps a lot for a man to have a supported moon, as i explain in the course, it makes them able to connect and understand women better. But the foundation is, their sun. The whys of the 4th, its all in the course, please review.

OK Ernst, Thanks for the answer and I will review what I have missed.

I would like to ask another question. You explain about the Sun being influenced by Saturn which causes low self esteem and Rahu causing to be kind of pretending but in reality also laking self esteem etc. I can identify that patterns in my live and looking siderealy I am Leo rising with Sun, Jupiter and Mercury in the Lagna which is hemmed by Rahu in the 12th and Saturn in the 2nd. I do think that this has a huge negative influence and it would fit what you explain about Saturn´s and Rahu´s influence because I can identify these tendencies. Tropicly one could also make a case in identifying these tendencies because then Saturn is with Sun in Virgo. But however, generally speaking, would a malefic hemming also have the influence like conjunction or aspect?

Ohhh, I forgot to say, this method of seeing the masculine and feminine qualities is really good. I really like it and it makes so much sense. Also helped me to understand me and my relationship better. This alone can show so much. Thanks for that.

No, hemming is not like that at all. What happens with hemming is that there are lots of hard things that need to be done that keep a person from doing the hemmed planet.

Could you please elaborate on this principle a bit more? How to understand that? Lets say a person wants to run and 2 guys are holding him by his arms and he cant either move forward because they lift him in the air or he has to use so much force to pull this guys also that its to troublesome and he gives up and just sits down as his lives strategy. Like that? If so then would it not also be true that the two persons who hold him back do that in a way that they are capable or with their skills. For example if Spiderman and the Hulk hold one back from running then Spiderman would maybe do it by binding him with spiderwebs and the Hulk by using rude force. Or is this too complicated thinking of mine? Could you please say, as its in my case that Jupiter is hemmed, how can this work out in practical reality that hard things come in the way of working that planet as you said. Can you give me an example so I understand the principle? Lets say Jupiter rules optimism, then I have problems being optimistic and what hard things may hinderbeing optimistic?

Yes, you can see it that way, but look at it more astrologically. THe 12th house is what we have to let go of in order to have the house in question. If a malefic is there, we struggle to have the right thing to give up, to  pay for what the house in question needs. The 2nd house is what stabilizes the first house and keeps it healthy. A malefic there makes it a battle to get what the house in question needs to be healthy and secure.
