@Ernst and others -  Recently in a private group, conversation about the Yoni came up. My Yoni appears to be Mongoose, it was expressed that "the mongoose is the most fierce/vicious fighter of all the animal nakshatras". I stated that I don't really connect with that, as I prefer to let things get out of the way, and avoid attacking others.

Another person added that it's not a choice it's "autopilot".

I will admit to reflexive action when there is something to "protect" such as a child or animal.  But, when I am the subject of the trespass, I feel as though I am able to weigh my options and make EVERY attempt to let the challenger, move out of the way.  So perhaps, I simply do not know "Mongoose" or I have indeed submitted to the challenger.

My question is: Do we develop the ability to choose more wisely our battles, and respond healthier, or are we fated to always behave as "animals"?

Perhaps my friends that are well acquainted with Mongoose can offer me further insights.
Thanks, LT

I'm sure there are a lot of opinions, but the Mongoose is most famous for challenging and eating venomous snakes. This could be seen to be protecting people, children and animals. They don't attack humans unless defending themselves from capture.

Can Yoni calculation based on nakshatra be affected by the planets affected? I know of cases where Yoni did not fit in with the usual descriptions and aspects of Jaimini next to other aspects, already brought a recognizable situation.

I know many woman who has talked about some private issues, and from my point of view, the planets in question have been quite eloquent.

In some cases, this can lead to a number of secrets that make a person behave a little unusual in a social context.

For example, in the case of the fear of frigidity, the Rahu/Ketu and even the problematic Mars accompanying Jaimin's aspects have come out quite often. The matter was rather psychological and in a number of secret desires and dreams that were not dared to be disclosed to one's partner in any way.

There have even been cases where a woman has been confused about herself and has tried at some point in her life to test with another person whether they are still able to get fully excited. Having been in a relationship/marriage at that time has sometimes led to very dramatic situations. All about sort of self esteem or uncertainty and confusion.

@ayan I believe "The Yoni" is specific to the Moons nakshatra. If I understand it correctly, it is how an individual deals with a "threat" or enemy, what does the individual do when they are angry or need to fight for survival. But maybe my interpretation is off, perhaps someone with a better understanding will chime in.

@ltmoon Yes, Yoni is part of personality, not only physical component.
