Just curious if someone may know why the 5 elements, as they go down the spine and align with our chakra centers, why do they(chakras) have entirely different colors for healing. Even the stones we use for gem therapy don’t match up. Is this additive color theory? I haven’t studied color theory, but it’s the only thing I could think of, and it still makes no sense to me.

It makes more sense to me that we would use these astrological colors for healing the chakra centers. Unless we’re talking about yin and yang type energy colors…??? Didn’t think of that before, but I don’t know enough about color theory as I mentioned.

I lost sleep over this last night, I just cannot connect some points, I’m missing something and hope someone may have a clue for me.

Gems are related to colors of signs. There are 2 signs per chakra, so they do not correlate to the colors of the chakras. Chakra colors are aligned to the rainbow, but I don't give much authority to this entire color chakra idea. I think the colors of the chakras change according to vibration of the person and I would not use that rainbow system that you see advocated. For instance, the third eye, how we see that chakra, is not just one color.
