Readin a tough chart for a Libra lagna, and I say to him: There is a natural balance in your chart, due to your first house being the first natural 7th and vv, and etc.

He seems to be able to take more hardship than most people would be able to do; I can´t say that he hasn´t suffered, but he´s still around with a good attitude.

Q: Does being a Libra lagna mean that you are less prone to be completely set off course, to loose it, to be defeated by life? Due to the natural balance that the chart offers.

Not really, it depends on the condition of the planets, as always. Saturn is the anchor for Libra and of course, venus is important as lagna lord.

@ernst I have been meaning to ask you about this principle, Ernst, as I'm not sure which will be the key planets for Lagnas beyond Libra, the 7th sign, so the 8th (Scorpio), 9th (Sag) etc. I'm sure it's a simple and logical principle but somehow it escapes me 🙂

Key planets are always the lagna lord, a yogakaraka for the lagnas that have yogakarakas, or the yoga forming planets for other lagnas, and also, VERY importantly is the lord of the house that is the same number as the sign, so for libra the lord of 7th which is mars. For sag lord of 9th which is sun.

@ernst Now it all makes sense, thank you. So you mentioned "Saturn is the anchor for Libra" because Saturn is a Raj yoga producing planet for Libra, ruling the 4th and 5th?
